Voice IT PRs Kath Lord-Green was asked to provide guidance to two young ambassadors Tilly Lockey and Isabella Signs on the red carpet for the inaugural Child of Britain Awards at The Grosvenor Hotel in London in June 2022.
It was our role to capture quality interviews via the Ambassadors both prior to the event and during arrival on the Red Carpet for use on both social media platforms and for video footage for The Child Of Britain Website and for part of a Sizzle to be sent to Film Companies.
Both Ambassadors were 16 year old influencers as it was felt that young people should be used to capture great interviews from Celebrity attendees, winners and guests as well as the Host (Eamonn Holmes) and Founder of the Awards (Blanche Sainsbury).

Tilly already has 109K followers on Instagram and had recently opened Radio 1s Big Weekend, she’s a British amputee following a diagnosis of Meningococcal Septicaemia Strain B at 15 months old. Known for her bionic arms developed by “open bionics” who she is now an ambassador for, Tillys first “hero” arm was fitted when she was 8 years old. Tilly recently won the CBBC competition “Got what it takes” and is a presenter, singer and all round star of the future!
Isabella, another 16 year old influencer with 211K followers on Instagram and another star of the future is also known as Isabella “Signs”. Isabella taught herself sign language to communicate better with her little brothers: one who has cerebral Palsy and one with Down Syndrome. She has introduced numerous stars to sign language by getting them to help her with “sign of the day” something she does on Instagram to help others learn sign language. She is also a UK Youth NATO representative and ambassador for charity Merlins Magic Wand.
For us at Voice IT PR, This meant preparing the interview questions in advance as a guide for the young ambassadors, looking after the girls throughout the day, getting the celebrities prepped and in place for the interviews and working with First Look TV for the filming of the interviews.
This was a job that Kath relished as an ex-presenter and news correspondent, interviewing key people, especially for a Charity Event (raising money for Cash for Kids) was a dream come true.
